What is our Formulation Philosophy?
Our skin and body care is made with selected, purely natural, naturally derived and non-toxic ingredients to create simple but elevated formulations that are beneficial and nourishing for your skin. We choose botanical ingredients that bring us in contact with mother nature, smell beautiful, and make you feel pampered and loved. Our skin care thrives from a healthy mother earth, so we select sustainable ingredients that are not under ecological pressure.
At LoYo Body we use the followings guidelines.
GMP (Good manufacturing practice). Our products are stored and naturally preserved to avoid bad microorganisms to grow in our products.
Shelf Life per formulation. We lab test our formulas to identify the real shelf life of each product.
Packaging. We only use packaging that will not disturb the formulation characteristics.
Ingredients. We look into all self preserve ingredients used in our formulation to determine whether a natural derive preservative is needed or not.
Over the past seven years, Jessica has dedicated her time to research and test our skincare. We banned over 50+ common ingredients used by most skincare that claim to be natural. We know it is hard to even point out those toxic ingredients by looking at a label so we have put together a list of of those ingredients we ONLY use to make our products, so that you are confident when ordering our products.

*Organic Alcohol - Natural preservative, produced from organically grown grains, grapes, that are free of synthetic fertilizers, hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, GMO's as well as herbicides.
*Organic Glycerin - produced as a result of hydrolysis of vegetable fats.
Sorbitol - Sorbitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol that is found in many edible fruits, berries, and vegetables. It is most widely used in cosmetics and skincare products as a humectant where it can prevent moisture loss from the skin.
Sodium Cocoyl/Lauroyl Isethionate - Derived from the fatty acids in coconut oil. It is not only natural, itβs provide creamy lather with good cleaning properties, imparts softness and manageability to the skin.
Disodium Lauryl sulfosuccinate - Water soluble, coconut derived, sulfate-free surfactant, considered to be one of the mildest and safest surfactants on the market.
Levulinic Acid - 100% natural preservative obtained from starch and vegetal inulin. It is a gentle preservative proved to be able to control microorganism colonies without altering the integrity, colour or pH of other ingredients included in the final product.
Potassium Sorbate - Potassium sorbate is a potassium salt of sorbic acid, a naturally occurring antimicrobial compound. It used as a mild preservative in cosmetic and skin care formulas and as a paraben alternative to prevent or retard the growth of microorganisms and protect these products from spoiling.
Mono Propylene Glycol - Derived from vegetable source, it acts as an humectant (hydrating) and used in small amounts to keep products from melting in high heat or from freezing. It also helps active ingredients penetrate skin.
Fragrance - Always Phthalates Free and plant derived.
Coenzyme Q10 (Ubidecarenone) - Found on plant-based products such as soybean oil, rapeseed oil and sesame oil. With all the energy CoQ10 provides skin and with it helping to support the production of collagen and help fight the signs of ageing skin such as fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol) Oil - Vitamin E helps support the immune system, cell function, and skin health. It's an antioxidant, making it effective at combating the effects of free radicals produced by the metabolism of food and toxins in the environment.
